I just checked my Neo Geo Extensioncable (from the Neostore)

and it looks the same Pin configuration wise...


It *should* work

It's possible you may need to trim some things down, but it will work technically, physically it might have to be worked with a bit.

You can't trim that: it's the metal type. Will never work: waste of money.

It will work, but the controller end will not fit all the way into the plug or it will fry your controller port. One of the two.

Yes it would work.. But get one that is completely made out of plastic, those are easy to modify with a knife.

Dont get hosed...I know i got taken by a prominent neo member when I paid for (2) @ $20 each ...afterwards a very kind NG.com member gave me the heads up on how much 6 foot Neo Geo joystick Extensions cables are really worth..

Damn I just spent 10 bucks on one. Thanks. But maybe I can use the 10 foot cord as a go between and have a 16 foot extender.... Crazy enough it just might work, I just ordered 2 of those $2 extenders, those are 15 pin though right? If not I just got taken twice.

Yes they will work. I just got mine. You need to use a razor blade to trim the excess plastic on the female end of the extension cord. It doesnt fit all the way into the Neo joystick port until you do so. Just compare the extension to one of your neo sticks to see how much to take off. (takes 5 minutes) then voila! Works great. Just be careful to wear leather gloves so you dont cut yourself.
