Tested and fully working. Plays Jp MegaDrive, Jp MegaCD & karaoke CDG's (CD + graphics).

If you know what this is then there's no point in me rambling on about how amazing it is.

Lots of photos here http://castleofcollectibles.com/WonderMega/ and serious offers only! Not looking to trade either. Sale only.

Is this the model that has S-Vid and Digital Optic? If so how much?

I was too tired to post it all this morning. I believe this is what you want to know:

wm-s5.jpg

Left to right:

-RF port
-RCA L/R stereo & video ports
-S-video port
-Joystick 1 port
-Joystick 2 port (keep in mind this was designed around wireless controllers)
-AC adaptor port

Left to right:

-Mic 1
-Mic 2
-Mic volume control
-Echo control
-Phonal volume control
-Phones

Perhaps this isn't the one you are after as there doesn't seem to be any digital optical out. I know Sega made the original Wondermega and Victor produced this, the second. I heard of a third model (also by Victor) but don't know anything about it, or if it exists actually.

toslink cables didn't even exist in the home market when that system came out, I think you're mistaken. Home Amps only had pro-logic back then, let alone 5.1 digital. Maybe you're thinking of MIDI. but no system has digital out until PS2.

DashK, That is funny you say no home system had digital optic out back then because I know for fact that at least one did. I have seen and used one before. It is called the Pioneer Laseractive. Look it up. You can get packs that play Genesis/Megadrive/Sega/Mega CD, and a Nec TurbodDuo/Pcengine Duo pack and the system had a digital optic out for sound with use of the games. In fact I think the digital optic out was only used for the games, I could be wrong, but my friend has one with both Genesis and PCengine packs. Look it up. It has the clearest sound you have ever heard on a Genny game. It doesn't do Digital Surround yeah, but it does have a digital optic cable out for the game packs. And from pictures and articles I have seen the third model of the Wondermega also incorporated this technology for the Karaoke aspect of the unit, but could also be used for games.

Oh and thanks for the notice Neo.

MIE madness! Taking offers on this and will update later with a full description. It's not mint but relatively close to it, before you ask.

edit: This is listed as being for Super GameBoy, and of course is also thus for GameBoy/GBC. It plays in full colour.

Since the WonderMega didn't sell are you going to relist it? Will you come down on the price at all?
