I'm kinda with tsuka don't dumb it down to get more participants, you'll get half assed stuff. What kind of prizes are you looking at? I know Trieu and S-C.com gave away a KOF2002 MVS kit, and some other stuff I forget what for a review contest and got quite a large amount of entries.

I think the contests are great. The tshirt one was fun, even if they didn't get printed. The contest giveaways are great too; I won a gamecube from Giby. Fantastic fun I tell you.

Well, it sucks to eliminate large groups of people by making them do shit that they probably wouldnt ever do anyway.
For example, if you asked for an FAQ on the AES, I would personally be super screwed, because not only do I not own, I have never even played one.
Anyway, just try not to exclude people.
