Hi all! I have a question on the SNES chroma encoder chip, does anyone know if its based on the SONY CXA1645m? Its a 24 pin surface mounted chip with these markings -

S-RGB
Nintendo
S 9622 BA

Just want the pinout, not so I can rig up RGB etc as I'm fine with that, but I was considering sacrificing one of my spare units for the chip to use in a Video Encoder board if its essentially a CXA1645m chip.

Any help would be great!;)

The SNES chip is a ROHM part, and not a very good one. The S-video output is an inelegant hack since the chip doesn't natively support it. Why Nintendo chose it is beyond me.

BA6592f is the part #.
