Okay I looked around a bit to see if there were any other posts about this problem i have and havent found one. So Im going to ask.

When i power up my system after its set around for awhile sometimes i get a blue screen with some sort of ram test executing on the screen. It usually stops when i turn the power off and on again.
My Neo is a japanese system with a debug bios. When i bought the system a few months ago this never happened. Is this normal or should i be concerned? Im still a little new to the Neo and I really dont want to lose my baby. Any help is extremely appreciated!
Thanx!

This does not sound normal. This could be caused by the debug BIOS. Who installed it? I have had some initial problems on startup, with systems that have been powered off for years straight. My AES typical is off for two to three months at a time (it's in mint collector condition otherwise I'd play it more often ;)). I have not had any problems on power up.

This is normal as far as I know

I have a Mega Neo witha Debug bios...

all this means is that the cart is not inserted correctly/fully

The Blue screen is a checksum routine

if you notice it gives you a list of files, and has some Hexadecimal stuff by each of the files, EG 18A7B4, and some might have 00000

as I understand it, these are the rom files on the board, and the ones with 00000 are not being read...

Just place the cartridge in evenly with two hands, and make sure it has good contact with the board.... but don't slam it in there or anything, because your risk damaging the leads....
