Can anyone tell me how many KoF's came in colors other than Black? The only Kof colored cart i have is KoF 2k2 and its yellow. I just want to verify what colors are legit so that i don't buy a bootleg, but most of the pictures i see in online stores are solid black. Did second runs of some of these carts come in black only?

Case in point, is this a legit cart:

(If this has been asked before please exuse it. I searched the forums but couldn't locate any posts to answer this question.)

Yeah i saw your post but i didn't want to misdirect it w/ a similar yet, different question. :eye: Thats odd, my KoF 2k2 is YELLOW and its a complete kit w/ matching serials (11822). I wonder if SNK switched colors at some point, maybe to signify a 2nd run?

I have an official KOF 2K2 MVS kit with a green cart.

Orange, Yellow, & Green: Maybe we need a color chart to add to the NG Site? It seems that this just gets more & more confusing. Can you guys tell me the serial #'s on your kits? I'm wondering if they switch colors at some point in the production process--maybe every 5000, or so--for some reason?

I have an Orange KOF 2002 MVS Cart and it's legit as I bought it from Neo Store, serial numbers and all. I wonder this myself about "other" MVS carts though. How many times have I seen a white METAL SLUG 4, and then a black cart. A translucent blue STRIKERS 1945, but then I'll see a simple black cart? Actually I'd like a listing of what is and is not actually quote-on-quote NORMAL for Legit MVS Carts. Or do some people like to change out the innards of a legit cart and put them into the asthetically pleasing to the eye MVS Cartridge Shells as well? I know personally I have always liked Translucent carts in appearance over solid colors but that's just the superficial side of my kicking in.

ME TOO!!! That looks awesome!

Wow!
I've never seen a Pepto-Bismo colored MVS cart before! Seriously speaking, I'd love to get my hands on that particular kit! Makes my standard orange kit look so common. :)

A cart case list would be worthless. Not only do some games have many color cart cases, you can also swap out cases.

:tickled: I had a feeling this would be asked..

I'm actually the high bidder..

I only bid on it because it's green with a green label.
It looks Korean to me..

I have KOF 97 in a Black Case/Japanese.

I do collect all the 3 regions of MVS carts though..

My Japanese KOF 99 is in a green case with "white" label..

........................................
All my other KOFs are known colors.

Pardon me for dragging up an old topic, but I just noticed that there's another copy of the "pink" KOF 2002 up for auction:
(Keep in mind the artwork is not authentic.)

So if anyone wants it, there's your chance... Good luck! :glee:

BTW this seller usually carries plenty of good stuff, like this complete Strikers 1945 PLUS kit (w/ clear black case) for instance...

Just a little heads up for those who're interested.
