Nope, and I dont intend to get them.

...don't see the point in owning every installment of the series. I mean I like the "King of Fighters" franchise, but not enough to simply own them all for the sake of having them all. *Right now I own the one that (despite all the hatin' it gets) is my favorite one and that is KOF 2002. I plan on gettin 2003, more or less because it's the final MVS Cart more than any real desperate need to have it. I mean I have only ever seen pictures of 2K3 and no arcade around here has it. I will in the future my collection will look like this.

KOF 2K2
KOF 2K3
KOF '98
KOF '96
KOF '95

all the others are cool to me, but just nothing I'd run out and buy. With those games Garou: MOTW SVC Chaos, Breaker's Revenge and of course having to track down a must have in the NEO collection copy of Shin Samurai Spirits I think that'll do me good in the "Fighting" department. The only series I must own every installment of is METAL SLUG.

I'm almost there. I just need 98 and 99 for my AES and I have just about every port out there for the DC and the PSX and Saturn.

I don't want to own every KOF there is...I don't even have any KOF on my Neo AES right now.

I'm thinking of buying 98 and beyond.

The only one I have on MVS right now is '02. I have every DC port made ('98-'02), PS2 ports for '00/'01, and PSX ports for '95 and '97. I've always got my eye out for a cheap MVS '97, and will probably pick up '96 and possibly '95 at some point. My next planned KOF purchase is '03, though -- very close now. If I ever find myself owning every other SNK game ever made, and at least most of the ADK and other developers' games, I may pick up KOF '99. Otherwise, don't count on it (although you never know).

Almost there, I got all of them in MVS from 94 to 2001 (this last one is the only complete kit), so I'm only missing 2002 and 2003 and I will get them when the prices are cheaper. I just got an Atomiswave so I plan on continuing the series, but as always only when the price is reasonable enough for me.
By the way, before I had the MVS and I still had the NGCD I was trying to get all them on CD, I was only missing 96, then I moved to MVS and started again from there.

I've got:

US AES KOF '94, '98, '99

I wanna get a complete US collection (except the 2000 won't be US), so it's a little bit tricky for me to find some of 'em.

Gotta get them all! I've got KOF 94 & 97 for the AES. I doubt I'll get any for the Neo CD...load times ugh. Every Neo collector should at least own one of the KOF's.

almost there...

I'm working on getting all of them on US AES so it'll take me abit longer than say AES, but I think it'll be satifying.

I bought 8 KOF JP AES's carts on eBay and got burned...

I thought that would be a quick way to boost my collection, it would have but oh well..

So I had to start over from scratch so to speak

I have Kof 97 JP
and KOF 2001 US (which I just got from the sale at the neostore GREAT!)

I want KOF 2002 next, and I have Kof 2003 Pre-ordered

but little by little I will get them all... ;)

I have

on AES (not counting home ports, since none of the home systems have all nine or ten)

KOF 94
KOF 95
KOF 96
KOF 97
KOF 98
KOF 99
KOF 2K
KOF 2K2

I just ordered 2k1 because of the sale and will probably buy 2K3 whenever it's released. I'm going to miss being able to play these games at home now that SNK/Playmore is switching over to Atomiswave (I'm already salivating at the mouth over the three new releases and 2K2 release on PS2, hopefully it'll come out).
