I have this DPST switch for my 2-slot and had a question...

http://www.jameco.com/cgi-bin/ncommerce3/ProductDisplay?prmenbr=91&prrfnbr=4518&cgrfnbr=501&ctgys=

I know the pins are for 12V in, 12Vout, 5V in, and 5V out. What I don't know is where each one goes. I think it should be 5V in and out on either the left or the right, and 12V in and out on the opposite side. Is that right? Or is it 12V in and out on top or bottom, and 5V in and out on the opposite. I'll try to show what i'm talking about if that isn't clear.

The back of the toggle switch has 4 solder points that look like this..

1 2 Off

3 4 On

So would it work if I wired it like this:

1) 5V in 2) 12V in Off

3) 5V out 4) 12V out On

Thanks. Hopefully that makes sense.

ok THis is a hard thing to explain to someone not experianced with stuff like this....

I drew a picture:

When it is turned on,
both points on the left side connect to eachother
both points on the right side connect to each other

If you want to test it, only hook up the 5 v.

the board only uses 12v for sound.....
