Hello. I have a metal slug 2 that will load the game. You can start by selecting a player, then the MVS Machine reboots itself every single time. I cleaned the cart but to no avail. Cart is a dud. Any ideas, just bought it from ebay. Going to send it back. Joe

Check to see if it is a bootleg.
My friend had a Slug 2 boot with the same problem.

Nothing like that! There are no where near the amount of chips on the board. And there aren't stickers on the chips. Joe

They are black chips. on the top board there are 4 large ones, 1 small chip, and 3 tiny tiny chips.

The second board has 3 Large chips, 1 slightly smaller chip than the large, 1 slightly smaller chip then the second largest chip, 1 medium chip, 1 small chip and 2 tiny tiny chips.

Windowed, no they are black with Toshiba on the large chips. Joe

mvs 4 slot.

Have you tried the cart in all of the slot positions? And more importantly, do you have other games in the other slots? The game may have a prob if it's the only one plugged into a 4-slot board...

Cleaned the cart with qtip. JUST FILTHY! But the title screen isn't even coming up now. The seller did offer to trade me for another of the same game. So I will trade him for his. Thanks for all the help.

And I tried it in all 4 slots with and without other games in the slots.

Joe
