DC twinstick rare logo?

Hiya,

Currently, I own 2 Sega Dreamcast Virtual On Twin Stick.

They have the same box (jp) etc but there is one difference:
one of the stick has the 'orange swirl' dc logo,
while the other has the 'gray swirl' dc logo.

Anybody knows why are there 2 versions? Was there 2 production runs for the twinstick? Which one is more rare?

I appreciate if anybody with a Twin Stick can check theirs out

I do not know the answer to your question but if you ever decide to sell those sticks give me a holla. ;)

I should have Twin Sticks in my possession this weekend. I'll let you know what's on mine after I pick them up.

I have a set, and I'm pretty sure they have a grey swirl.

I haven't looked at it in a while.

googled a bit and saw only the 'gray logo'
I am almost certain I will put the 'gray logo' up for auction soon....

I believe one came by itself and the other was had a pack-in game (VR: Ontario Tangram, i think). If i had to wager a guess i'd say that: the grey one came out by itself and the orange one was teh pack in. :cool:

I just picked up my Twin Sticks controller today and it's got the gray swirl.

I don't believe that it came with a pack-in of VO:OT, so the orange=pack-in version theory makes sense to me.

Here are the serial #s from underneath if they make any difference:

Congrats and thanks a bunch. I think I am keeping the one w/ orange swirl. I will put the other up on ebay later..

mine is grey, never saw an orange, maybe the first run was orange? there never was a pack in version either AFAIK.

the boxes are identical, and there are no sign of a pack-in game either...

I guess you are right, the orange might be the first run..
