MVS headphone jack question...

Yes, you can buy that cable and it will work fine for your stereo output from the headphone jack.

That can be bought from any Radio Shack also, it will save you some time and probably money for shipping if you buy it locally.

If you are consolizing your 2 slot system, you can just mount the stereo jacks on the metal case near the headphone jacks.

All you need to do is solder up the ground, left and right signals from the headphone jack then on to the Stereo Jacks.

So I can either use the adapter or wire it up like the picture you posted? In other words, if i don't care about looks and I get that adapter would that be all I need for stereo output to a TV? Or will I still need to do some wiring with the adapter?

Yes that is correct, if you do not care about the looks then the wire can be used just fine.

No extra work or soldering is needed when you use that wire, its the easiest way to hook up stereo to your TV.
