game screens and TVs

i just bought a sony WEGA and i've been playing my neo games on it. the thing is, for certain games, a bit of the right and left edges of the screen are cut off. however, when i played them on my hi-def projection TV, the whole screen shows. does this have something to do with the TVs?

Hmm, thats odd

I think it is the TV too

I have a 55' HDTV and when I play my neo on it about 1 inch on the right part of the screen is black

it doesn't bother me too much though

yeah its the tv i think. if i have my neo hooked up to this 27" samsung (its HD upgradable, dunno if thats why) in the living room theres about a 1/2 inch cut off all around, but on the 20" JVC in my room the display is fine.

If you can figure out how to get into the service mode, usually by holding a couple of buttons down whilst powering up, you maybe able to adjust the picture geometry factory presets via the remote. You will need a service manual to figure it out. Then readjust after switching back to normal TV operation.
