R.O.B.'s very limited reason for living was to help you play Gyromite and...uh---hm, I guess that's it...

R.O.B. was a NES accessory...made to play Gyromite though it had another game like ClassicMode1985 said..

Man I actually remember the second commercial. The one with the house flying in the air. Man, I feel old.

R.O.B. was also supposed to be able to hold sodas and such. I never saw it do it anywhere but in a picture, but I guess it was supposed to be multi-purpose.
