I have heard that the smaller MVS 1 slot boards do not have sterio sound. Does that only apply to a headphone input or something, or does that mean that there is no possible way at all to get sterio sound out of the jamma harness connection or anything like that? Or am I just compleatly wrong and it's fine with sterio?

The mini 1-slot boards are mono only, and it also doesn't have headphone jacks. If you want all that stuff, go with an old-style 1 slot board. :)

Exactly, if you need the stereo, headphones, joystick sockets then go for the MV-1F, you can see a pic on Briggs hardMVS site

This actual board, with the Windjammer cart I used
to own, now have a MV-1FZ the later smaller board.

Thanks for the info guys. It looks like I might have to buy a second MVS. Might there be a hardware hack similar to the sterio AES mod? I immagine the processor might be the same between the Mini 1 slot and old 1 slot. Mabey I can snag a sterio signal right off the pins.

The output stage is the same (HA13001) as for the processor, not shure. Its not beyond the realms of possibility :)
