KoF 2003 is now available at Wizzards Arcade.

Location:

14225 E. 8 Mile Rd.
Warren, MI 48089

No longer at Wizzards: Samurai Shodown V

NOTE: as of 2/21, the 2P side is out of order (it started
eating quarters). It'll probably be fixed in a matter of days.

UPDATE (2/28): 2P side is functional once again.

The messed up part is you had to give up one to get the other...
and it's not even in top condition now...
hope they fix that for you with the quickness...

But I bet they still have SvC. They should at least switch 2k3 with SvC, as seeing as how the svc cabinet is probably there best cab in there. BUt I take it that they have the MVS version of 2k3.

Sounds good. I'll look forward to it.

-Yes, they do (I'm not surprised, though)
-It is...
-Yes, it's the MVS

True, it's never good having to lose something to gain
something. Considering a good deal of their business
depends on competitive gameplay, I'm pretty sure that
they'll have it fixed soon. Well, at least I got in a few
matches against other players before it happened...

Well I'm kinda mad they got rid of Samurai Shodown V, I really wanted to go down to d-town to play some people (mainly Massu) at it since I bought the AES version, but haven't been down there since the day they first got it in.

FOOLISH FLESH CREATURES!! Samurai Shodown 5 is complete factory-TRASH! SNK vs. CAPCOM: Chaos isn't going anywhere. It's staying at Wizzards 'cause it's a great game. Tessa OWNS that game! (evil laughs)

I've had a good run with SSV. Besides, it might be back
one day, when SSV Special is released (maybe).

Now to see if Wizzards will actually buy an Atomiswave
cab in order to get KoF 2004 (which isn't far away, seeing
as it's due out in May in Japan)...

Well, Wizzards did have Guilty Gear X a few years back, so all they need to do is convert the cab with the atomiswave Motherboard and get 2k4. They should just use the SC2 cabinet, if they still have it.

Oh yeah, they did have GGX a few years back. Well, they do
still have the SCII cab, and since there's never any serious
competition centered around it, I suppose they could do that.
Yet, one thing that bothers me is the fact that they have two
MvC2 cabs, yet have only one of everything else, and even
then, people only play on one MvC2 machine at a time.
Would it be possible to make use of one of those?

It could of been Guily Gear X for the Naomi.

Unless it said 1.5 on the title screen, it probably was.

Ann Arbor's Pinball Petes has 2k3 too. I can't wait to get mine for the AES. Just less than 2 weeks.

I was seriously underwhelmed by KoF2k1, and so I didn't get 2k2. Is 2k3 better than 2k1? I've seen videos of it, and it looks like its awesome, much better bg's and music. But, I'm still a little skeptical on whether or not its worth the 300+ price tag that it will fetch upon release.

K' is still my favorite 'new' character. He was really the last great character design from SNK before they folded. However, I do like Duo, or however you spell his name. His outfit is classy, and from what i see in the videos, you can do some seriously insane shit with him.

I also like the fact that the color green plays a role in the game since its mah favorite colah. :D

-You should get it (much better than 2001)
-Yes (see above)
