I'm watching a show on 'Christian Zionists' and I just sort of wanted to indentify any NG.com members that actually think there's going to be a 'Rapture' and that believing Christians will be snatched up from the Earth and taken to heaven before the end of the world.

I'm hardly religious. Haven't been to church since I was in grade school. I don't even have a bible in my apartment. With that said, why are you guys relentlessly trying to divide the forum members here?

I saw parts of that program. I do not beleive in this "chosen people" bullshit. IMO true Christianity and all good religions have common fundamental ideas and one of them being the equality of all men.

Vote: 'not likely'

but, I think these lyrics sum up my feeling on the matter

Some say the end is near
Some say we'll see armageddon soon.
I certainly hope we will.
I sure could use a vacation from this
Bullshit.

Make fun of me all you want you Godless twit, but I DO believe the HOLY BIBLE to be the word of "I AM" the Alpha & The Omega, and with the ways things are IMO, it's just the prelude to The Rapture. I'd go into Scripture but I'm not going to waste my time on that since you evidently want so badly to be the lap dog of Satan. I know it sounds fantastical, but what the heck doesn't anymore? Yet mankind will believe in their own self made, propagandized nonsense over the only book to have been written literally over various centuries (with the authors not having a way to talk with one another) and prophezied not "predicted" things that came to pass. *All I'll say on this note is that the BIBLE makes it clear that either you "Believe" or you don't "Believe". Against all of my other studies that I do and analyzing the world at large I still believe what the BIBLE says to be absolute.

Everyone wants to argue, "Well this hasn't happend yet." and such and such. FOOLS! They'll only believe when they see it with their own two eyes and by then it's too late. I struggle with many things in my daily walk/faith, but the struggle is what makes me happy because I'm dealing with it, I don't profess to be a "Perfect" person nor would I care to be. Is the end coming? Of course it is! When will it happen? Who knows, and why would that be important anyhow? LIVE YOUR LIFE, but always be weary of the very BLING, BLING horeshit the world would have you buy into. With the way the USA is acting GOD will turn his back at some point (i.e. out of his graces) on us, and in that time you'll see the strife, the revolutions, the mini-anarchy shit arise. That'll be payment for the head (the government) that was granted that authority by divine appointment for not keeping in line with what was both moral and uniform. Will I live to be wisked away on a cloud? I don't know and ain't going to ponder over it, but yes I do believe in the concept. I also believe that I was created in the timelessness of prefection (like everyone else) for a specific purpose and for me it's the path of a "Warrior" meaning I'll be around to do my thing for the right people, down trodden and probably the very people who wouldn't believe, out of love and "Duty" to Jesus Christ. Anyone who doesn't understand that Christians themselves are apart of a Kingdom of God and that we are soldiers, and that the LORD GOD uses all types is not reading their scripture, and does not take their lives seriously at all. We are here because of a rebellion started by a vain asshole named Lucifer cast out of heaven and deciever of mankind... thus we pay the price, and all will be as it shall in the end. Quite frankly if I was "I AM" I'd have destroyed mankind long before now, as none of us are worthy of shit (including myself) but he sent his only SON Jesus to die for the sins of the world, yet I'm sure more people than not will put more stock in some wishy washy concept concocted for a thought provoking ANIME series or something.

I'll do my part when it's time, until then I am a "Waiting Bear".

I didn't know God is also an alien and that in the famous documentary, "Independence Day", Will Smith uploaded a virus to God's mainframe with a mac (go MAC!) and proceed to destroy all of God's motherships.

I was brought up Catholic without a word of "rapture"....I've only heard the term from wacky out-there Christians. No offense to anyone intended.

Haha Darling, making 'fun' of you is not my goal.

I do want to dance with you, however. My steps are punctuated with hard logic- so I'd advise you put on your 'tutu' of faith.

The war in heaven has yet to begin. My father, the Devil (Who you'd call Satan) urges me to war with you.

And I, much like you, am just a pawn of the old dieties.

Fire away- the self-empowering bullets you and your dad fired at immobile and helpless targets should provide you with a tungsten-hard contrast to the Baccinalian torrent I might unleash upon you.

Step 1?

yeah... I am not much on the rapture.....

but I do believe there will be a judgement day.
And all the death/destruction at the end of times when Christians are few (hm.... doesn't seemto be many at this board lol).... evil is at its all time highest...etc.

IMO... the world is getting worse violence wise... but we haven;t seen anything yet.

seeing that you all like to bring Christians into the spotlight.... and try to grill us for everything.... and everything we say or do....
maybe its time for an anti-christian roaster topic

so you follow a weakling and a loser? he he
its too bad all satan is ... is a fallen angel. minimal powered creature.

and you really want to start the war of the heavens that you already know that you are going to lose? Thats ok.... bring you and all your buddies. You'll be fodder... and will fall to your knees in terror at the voice of God..... in a word he created you ... .. and in a word... you will vanish....

Sigh... Bluevoodu

The only real war that will be fought is a war of individual intellects. And I will win, over and over again- every one of said conflicts.

See- when I reference my 'father' Satan- I reference only a biased hatred of Christianity. Not an actual belief in some sort of struggle between actual angels and demons.

God has been dead in America since the middle-1920's

And I am the heir to his assassins

Please, by all means- take the glove I've offered to you.

My canine's are remiss to stay pearly. They crave the crimson- the salty taste of Christian throats.

I don't know about rapture...but I did have this one fucked up "religious" experience when I was riding the schoolbus home after a long day of being treated like shit by my peers....

The bus stopped at the railway tracks

it was a sunny day in spring,

the tall grass was still yellow

and the wind was blowing....

and for those few seconds at the tracks I watched that grass make waves like water in that wind....and I began to think about how we are all like that grass...I thought about those who I loved that died and those who will die one day...but it seems ok to me...there was this warm light that embraced me for those few seconds and a voice that told me "everything is going to be OK"...This seriously happened...and no I don't have a history of mental illness....

I was baptised orthodox Christian for my country's beliefs...and I live out many of Christ's teachings...but no, I don't believe in the teachings of a people whose "Holy Land" is awash with the blood of fanatics and innocents alike...

The problem of modern man, as I see it, is that he has lost the link with the infinite universe that surrounds him and that in an ever demanding world he does not have the time(nor perhaps does he want to) to ponder his existence.

If Wiw Shmiffah was gonna use an actual Mac, we'd be fucked...that POS would get an "overlapped extent allocation error" so bad both sides would get screwed by Macs sheer suckiness...

That or a Kernel Panic....

btw....are they up to OS 11 yet?
