im on a comp shop computer so ill keep it brief, basically:

*meditation bar runs out quicker (yeah)
*looks cleaner in terms of layout and presentation (yeah)
*has mizuki in the game i am about 95% sure, from a poster and the select screen (indifferent)
*less damage in general though particularly on normals and auto hits off throws (yeah)
*yoshi is powered down though his super still looks a little cheesy with its instantaneous recovery (yeahx2)
*3 or 4 new stages (yeah)
*the new artwork is imo fucking awesome, that goes for all portraits, the new select screen, meditation mode portraits etc (yeah)
*new select screen (yeah)

Thanks for the info. Good news to see Mizuki return, although in terms of storyline I don't think she'd fit. She only appeared in SS2, and that being the last of the 2d series. Mizuki wasn't even brought up in SS1, and with SS0 being a prequel I wouldn't know why they put her there other than for nostalgia (forgive the misspelling) Is Zankuro just as cheesy as he was in the past or did they tone him down too?

Sounds good so far, but a couple of key things missing at this point, that being Cham Cham's return and the awaited storyline english translation. In the meantime my SS board sent me a link showing off the new shots.

i was only there an hour so i didnt really see enough to determine whether there are any fatalities...

zankuro will have been toned down i am sure..

english story mode wont make an appearance on an arcade machine here i wouldnt think.. will have to wait for the mvs release in the states right..?

Unlike the previous SS Special, I do think this will come in the states, since it's on the MVS.
