Eternal Champions has to be the worst fighter ever. My cousin had it for the Sega Genesis and it was terrible. The characters were horrible, The moves were not impressive and the A.I. was cheap as hell.

Pretty much ANY 3D fighting game from the 1990's. Virtua Fighter series excluded.

I don't know what I hate more...Bloodstorm or Shaq Fu...after playing them both I felt like I was cheated out of my time playing that crap they called a game...

It's not the greatest, but when it came out, I really enjoyed the hell out of EC. I love Larcen! It had a ton of moves and some great music. Sure the presentation was lame (couldn't there have been at least an announcer to say "round 1" or "fight" or something?

But other than that, I enjoyed the hell out of it. Pushed the Genesis about as far as it would go.

I would have to say the shittiest fighting game I've played was Battle Arena Toshinden 2. I know that now the whole series is a flamming piece of crap, but at the time, I actually enjoyed the first one... even if the moves were insanely hard. But the second one? Jesus, take a poor game and make everything about it even worse. HORRIBLE intro, terrible frame rate, god awful graphics, and a lame cast of new characters. The guy with the gun, before it came out and at the time, sounded like a good idea. What a piece of horse shit. And I've played Fight Fever.

Fighting Masters for the Genesis.

Bizarre character design and a pretty unique atmosphere, but the controls (and graphics to an extent) are just horrible.

You're right Power Moves / Deadly Moves (GEN) / Power Athlete (MD/Super Fami) does suck, but I always liked the character designs on the Thai girl Raeon, the Tonfa blade master in China Guolong and the final boss THE RANKER. Other than that, yep it sucked donkey balls, but I'll never sell my MEGA DRIVE copy.

...as for my pick of the worst fighting game, that's easy as it would be TONGUE OF THE FAT MAN AKA: "Modu Fight Palace" on M.D./Genny.

Street Fighter: The Movie

for the playstation.

I remember being absolutely horrified after 5 minutes of playing this game. I remember almost hyperventilating for a minute or two it was so bad. I really felt sick to my stomach about this thing sucking so bad. Fifty bucks really meant a lot to me back then - Thank God KB toys let me return that POS.

I would say the Neo has a good number of the top shit fighters in the world but most of the fanboys here want to justify spending thousands on the games by saying they have "hidden qualities".....yea and my ass puts out the same "hidden qualities" every morning.

World Heroes is terrible...

GanGan a bad game? It is a great game!

I once tried a horrible horrible game, it was a 2D fighting game based on Double Dragon, but was so strange... on SFC.

My vote for worst fighter would have to be for :

Hokuto no ken 5 also known as Fist of the North Star 5 for Super Famicom , it was the first import game I ever bought . boy was I upset

The game has no character animation ....and the framerate is non existant ....the characters blink in and out of view and there is absolutely no feeling of control when you play this game ....the worst PERIOD !
