House of the Dead Movie = Bullshit

I didnt know until last week that a Movie based on Sega's shooting hit "House Of The Dead" was recently done.

Excited by this fact (Since I like the game) rented the movie in hopes that my eyes would witness an astonishing and amazing SCI-FI production....... I coud NEVER be more wrong...

In one one the initial scenes we see a yatch Captain taking some guys to a Party set in a desolated Island called "Isla de Muerte" (Island of Death) once the night falls comes another scene where we see the yatch and the captain wating for the guys, it's raining... then the camera back to the guys in the island... IT'S NOT RAINING THERE!, I was like... WTF? I thought it was only a glitch in the movie.... It wasnt. The camera went back to the yatch... raining again... then back to the guys.... not raining again.... LAME.

But that's not as sucky as the Matrix Rip-off during the main battle against the zombies, again, another parody with shots like Trinity's famous kick and Neo's Bullet avoiding motion (You know which). The movie also ABUSES the 360° Degrees shots so much that I was really feeling like spuking right there.

The script is not precisely bright... Ordinary guys practically turned into serial killers??? (Who taught 'em how to use weapons so well???), BAD make-up, Bad acting, the scripters just seemed to have done a mediocre job.... most probably for the money.

Honestly guys stay away from this piece of crap, I keep dreaming of the day that we'll see really worth game-based movies, Mortal Kombat is IMO the only one close to that level.

Yeah when I finally saw this movie I felt like the P.O.W.s in Metal Slug games who leave behind a pile of their shit, cause that's what this is, a stinkin' POS.

yeah one of the most god aweful movies ever made. a disgrace to mankind. you can just feel your dignity going down the gutter as you watch this film.

on a side note, the whole 'rave on island then zombies show up' bit was originally planned for the Resident Evil movie, but the makers of Resident Evil thought the idea was lame and decided not go with it.. then along come the people that want to make this House Of The Dead movie and go 'yeah let's do it!'...

Yup, the HoD movie is the worst movie ever. And I'm not talking about "it's so bad, it's funny" kind of bad either like Van Damme's Street Fighter, HoD is a genuine turd burgler, the worst flick in cinematic history. If you think otherwise, you're just fooling yourself.

this wasn't even made as a HOTD movie. it was a titleless B horror movie, they bought the HOTD rights when the movie was almost finished so they could release it in theatres with some sort of name recognition. you can tell this because they added the lame AMS agent cameos at the end of the movie.

that movie had nothing to do with anything. I don't know any House of the dead game beginning at a Rave. Its so retarded.
