I beat Kuroko last night!

But nothing special happened. :eek:

I beat him on level 2 and he challenged me with 3 opponents unbeaten, 4 including the boss.
I was able to beat him with Jubei.
This is the first time Ive beaten him, and the 4th time I've played against him this year. The only weak thing about my victory last night was that the sound went out on my game the match before I played Kuroko. THe mvs copy I bought of Shawn at neostore has the sound go out on the ukyo seaside background every 10 plays or so.
Was wondering what gameplay levels you guys have beat the ref on.

You don't get anything special if you beat him, even on level 8.
Can't wait until unibios 1.3, when I am able to use him and Mizuki as a character, per special request by me to Razoola.

You can do it with the dipswitches...even in Sam3 you can play a a watered down kuroko, with an intro, victory quote, and even and ending, unfortunatley he turns into Haomaru when fighting Kuroko or Zankuro....in the third obligatory round, he turns into a glitched out Zankuro with half his body submerged and fucked up moves....see if you can rework the bios to get a "clean" version of Kuroko in 3 while yer at it...its better than nothing....

And yeah...the only way you can beat Kuroko on level 4+ is with Hanzo/Galford for speed, Ukyo with his jumping AB and Earthquake, who has it easiest with his ducking AB which has an 80% hit accuracy rate...

And how are you able to play as Kuroko in Samurai Shodown 2 with the dipswitches? I would like to know.

Hey dickstooshort I am a beginner and I think Im doing pretty well on level 2 thank you. On level 4 I cant get passed the 4th guy. But I have so many games and I dont play ss2 enough to be able to beat it on level 4 yet and its years before ill be able to beat it on anything higher than level 4. On a side note I am starting to think ss4 is ok. Bust genjuro is probly my best guy right now. Kuroko really should have become unlocked if you beat him, but nobody makes perfect games.

Someone that can't even beat Samurai Shodown 2 on level 4 will never have a valid opinion on any fighting game.

Mayby in a few months. So many games though. If I play neo for a day I will play at least 4 or 5 games. Ive never totattaly studied a fighter other than last blade. I will kill you in that game.

Don't sweat them man. SSII is a hard game to get the hang of. I have had it for quite some time now, and still get my ass handed to me quite often with it. Just relax, and don't take that crap personal.

*erm...I'll try to find the page that had the dip settings...in the meantime, talk to Kafuin_Gaira about this: I've seen him do some pretty cool shit with the dips on SS0....SS2 and 3 shouldn't be any diff...

You've got to be kidding me. I've been able to beat this game since I was like 14. It's not a difficult game to beat the computer in. It's one of the easiest fighters to learn and if you are as good in LB as you say you are this game should be a sinch. I'm fucking medicore as hell in fighting games but at level 4 this game is B A S I C.

Thats a joke.
I can beat ss2 on level 2 if I am lucky. In last blade I can beat the game on level 6 and the last boss on level 7 using speed mode.
SS2 is way harder bro. At least for me. Ive only been playing fighting games for a few months now. I never got into them when they were lighting up the arcades.
Was busy playing simpsons and sidescrolling beat em ups.
