Famicom GBA SP

The Famicom GBA SP, does anyone have one?

For some reason I really love the color scheme and I may want one, so I'm just looking for some opinions on it. I see the box is very SMB1 themed, does that game come with it or am I dreaming? :drool_2:

Anywho, someone please fill me in, I'd like to make an informed purchase if I'm going to spend that much money.

Are you talking about the limited one that actually looks like a famicom or the crappy unlimited release thats silver with famicom red d-pad and buttons?

Either way they are both just normal SP's with different colors.

No games come with them.

Mine will be here tomorrow.

The reasons I got it were the color scheme, and the kickass box. I'm almost positive, Mario Bros. is included with the system. There are also 9 other old Nintendo games you can get, which a little bit too expensive. I'll probably pick up excitebike though. I guess there may be more NES games released later too.

The new one, is actually modelled after the 2nd version Famicom I heard.

And it looks far better than that ugly ass first one. Far cheaper too.

New stuff on liksang about the famicom games.

If you get the wireless link cables and link up any of the famicom games, highlight 2 Player Mode and hit L+R you get a link up 2 player mode.

I'd like one of those FAMICOM GBA SPs myself, but I just don't see the point in owning something I'll only sell two years from now anyhow. The concept is cool though... but I get more play out of my GBA Player for G.C. than anything else. *Talking about it makes me want to go power up Final Fight ONE (Import). :cool:

And that's why I want to jump on this one. It's probably the closest thing I'll ever get to something like this seeing as how NOA damn near never throws us a bone when it comes to cool LE systems. All we get is that silver/black crap.

UPS didn't deliver it because I wasn't there to sign for it.

I've ordered from VGD plenty of times in the past, and every time UPS has just left the package there. Now of course they won't leave it.
