Prehistoric Isle --- What is this game.

I have heard of it. And even saw it for sale on Neo-Geo.com but what is it. Never played it before either.

Any one have screen shots of this game?

A side- scrolling shoot'em up (like Pulstar, Blazing Star)
nice graphics, easy gameplay, a little short...
It's MVS only, though

Yeah, Dinos are loose in the city and you fly a helicopter (horizontal shooter) to waste'em. Has some rescue elements too which are kinda cool. Dino's have that claymation/Primal Rage look to them as well. Decent shooter. And yes, MVS only. Still kinda spendy too.

if you are talking about the original it was done some years back and was NOT A neo geo title.

i played it in a arcade a few years back it was quite a neat game..only played one credit so i couldent tell you how the replay is

was a sidescrolling hellocopter shooting game

I played it in Japan and liked it. It was a very beautiful game, with great animations and great music. I don't know if it's a rare beast in the world of the MVS, though.

da original prehistoric isle was made by SNK but not for neo. sometime around '85-88 i think. neo wasnt around that time.

Yea I was talking about Prehistoric Isle 2. I got a chance to play it now and it's really quite nice. I also played Prehistoric Isle 1930 I think it was called. That one just didnt quite cut it. But the second game was really a good game.

Just wish I could get ahold of one of those my self.
