Does Metal Slug 1-5 deserve its own Gameplay forum?

SVC, KOF, how about a MS gameplay forum? Or is MS not deep/rich like a fighter to warrant such a place?

And for that matter, if we have a MS gameplay forum, how about a Fatal Fury one, a Sports one, and a conventional shooter one too?

this is assuming enough people would give a damn to talk about them.

I mean, other than KoF, none of the other series warrant its own forum, just based on what you see between general, gameplay, and 24 bit.

I don't see that much point. How many MS threads are there right now that aren't news related? Enough to fill an entire section? My favorite games on the Neo are the FF series, but I don't think there's really enough FF discussion to warrant a seperate forum.

Why are people asking for more sub-divisions of forums when BMU is proposing (and many people are agreeing) to REMOVE the entire 24/16-bit forum? Its obvious that theres a point were micromanagement reaches a point that far outweights the actual invested interest in the board.

This is the exact reason I can't surf S-C.com...to many fucking sub-forums.

If anything, we should consolidate KOF and SVC and make it "Fighters" and make a "Shooters" forum, since they are the preodminant game types on the Neo and really the only two that generate any real conversation on their various quirks and gameplay tweaks.

Agreed. Nuke game specific forums, make a couple genre forums, even though the Slugs deserve their own forum

I can't read the forums there due to the extreme stupidity of lots of threads there. It's good to check for any news Trieu might have, and arcade shock is cool, but that's about it.

And I forgot to expand on my earlier post. We don't need a Sam Sho or Slug forum, we don't even need the KoF forum. Just use gameplay or general discussion.

So True. There isn't really enough talk about Metal Slug to warrant a seperate forum.

That doesn't mean its not a tight game series, but honestly, the Gameplay forum isn't overflowing with MS talk.

I think it does deserve its own forum, its loads better than KOF or any fighter.

With a Slug or Shooter Forum we can talk about tactics etc and show off our games scores, use your own imagination.

Just my 2pence anyway.

I agree, Samurai Shodown should get a forum first. Metal Slug is cool but it is not that rich in gameplay tactics. I really think only KOF, and Samurai Shodown should have their own forums. Fatal Fury is kind of dead right now... Last Blade would/should be incorporated with the SS series... right?

I have to agree, I think Samurai Spirits ought to have its own before Metal Slug. Samurai Spirits 0-4, the NGPC games, the Hyper64 games, the RPG. Plenty of titles to discuss, if people ever started playing their games.
