Better Poll Solution

Rather than getting rid of the poll option altogether, maybe the mods could do us a favor and be more strict on poll threads than regular threads? I doubt the "vote bumping" problem is going to be fixed easily, so this seems the best solution. Just kill the polls flooding unrelated and the War Room because its an asspain to the readers there, just because a few members have IQ's less than 15.

It would be a shame in some ways, even the lamest polls sometimes create interesting converstation. Perhaps just deleting the poll element would do the job?

Might not be a bad idea if the mods have that ability. The problem isn't usually the topic (I'm kinda against increased war room moderation as always) but the fact that every poll vote bumps the thread.

hmm, the poll i made tonight doesn't seem to be getting bumped w/each vote. Maybe the problem's fixed?

In any case, i now know to stay away from TEH POLLZ! Sorry...

edit- nope it just got bumped. That does seem kinda dumb...

How about, once somebody posts 2000 they have the option to post a poll. I was thinking that would be fair.
