Final Fantasy X-2

Is this game any good? I have really heard next to nothing about it......strange for a square game to not have alot of hype ( I know obvoiously not anymore, but even when it was released)

Honestly,

I love the game. If you enjoyed FF-X, you'll love this game. I find it interesting to revisit the old areas and meet familar faces again. SO far im about 5 hours into it and Im digging it.

Pyro, do a search as there is a thread with a lot of info in it about this game. Personally, I like it a lot. The dialogue is a little campy at times, but it's otherwise a competent RPG. If you liked FFX, you will probably enjoy X-2, though the sphere grid is removed and characters use jobs instead. Some see this as a better thing. The battles are also faster paced.

The other thing I really liked about it are the missions. They give the game more of a non-linear feeling than the first one. Scantily clad women can't be a bad thing either...

This was my favorite thing about the game... you CAN play it without going through FFX, but you'd be missing a lot.

Anyways... yeah, it's kind of fun. X is a lot better (IMO, of course), and I'd really recommend playing through that first, but...

I didn't really like it too much. Its one of those games you'll like if you like FFX and I didn;t like that one much either. FF series kind of died with me after FFIX was released.

I've read in a Dutch gaming mag that clothing had something to do with the gameplay.
Can anyone tell me more ?

I like it. My favorite part about it is seeing how much Spira has changed, and running into all the people from X.

The game kind of has a FFV job system, and when you change jobs you also change outfits.

If you haven't played/didnt like X, then I wouldnt reccomend this game.
