When I purchased me sega saturn last month, I noticed that it came with a greenish/turquoise type of cartridge. It had no label. I read some faqs, and the closest I could compare it to is a limited edition cart that was included with a sega saturn bundle that was released in japan. Can anyone identify, or help me identify this 'mysterious' cart? Thanks in advance.

There is really no way to do it without a pic. Thats like saying I drive a car with four tires and two doors can you tell me car it is.

Just a guess, but maybe it's a memory card cart made to match the "Skeleton Derby Saturn." It comes with a turqoise countroller, it makes sense they would make a matching mem card too.

Yeah put it in the system and turn it on without a game and see if you can access a memory card, then you'd know if it was that. Otherwise try a game that requires a ram cart and see what happens.

if you put it in the system and no title screen comes up, it ain't a converter, go to memory manager and see how much memory you have, if it's like 2,000 blocks it's a memorycard. if it doesn't do anything, it's 1 or 4 meg ram.

I just tried it in my system without a game, like the others commented. It had no title. But when I went to the memory manager, I did notice that a cart was present. It had 5253 left. Some games on it still. :) The carts only distinguishing mark is the back sticker on the back that has a number like '670-5847'. Nothing more, no logo or anything, and writing in japanese.

Btw it does have some kind of plastic engraving. The front end at the contacts end has these inclined lines that are semi roundish. I'm afraid I have no pics, and no means of taking pics of the cart at the moment.
