What a silly question. One of course. Final Fight 2 and 3 just didn't keep the cool factor alive, and certainly became stale and Capcom was unable to re-hash the series and keep updating an aged engine. Capcom failed at keeping many of its cornerstone franchise series' fresh and cool, aka, Street Fighter 2 (anyone?)...
Final Fight suffered the same fate. Final Fight One is fantastic, but that is where the fun ends and the (why the hell did I spend four quarters on this shit) begins. No kidding. Somebody actually said that before, of course they were not playing Final Fight 2 or 3, they were actually playing that Aerosmith Generation X shooting game in the arcade, and it was pretty hilarious. He didn't mean to make me laugh obviously, because he gave me a dirty glance. That was my cue to duck out of the situation and go find me an empty MVS...
