I enjoyed the World Heroes Jet presentation style, big sprites, colorful game, tough AI, cool setup, no death match is okay with me, because frankly I had gotten burned out on the idea after WH2. The semi-tournament style in WH2J is fresh, modernized, and even a bit innovative for the times and the other fighting games being released.
It certainly kicked Mortal Kombat's ass. Street Fighter was probably a bit ahead of WH2J, but not by much, as WH2J definately topped SF 2 World Warriors and SF 2 Champion Edition. I loved World Heroes for the innovation and large colorful characters and actually the wide variety of characters was a nice addition to a great package. World Heroes Perfect let me down quite a bit. I'd say World Heroes 2 Jet was the pinnacle of World Heroes greatness, and after WH Perfect was unable to keep pace in new ideas and updating the character roster and presentation style, ADK made the right decision to abandon the franchise.
