I've got it, but am kinda hesitant to fire it up.
Anyone given it any serious time yet? Is it better than U:C?
Lemme know. Otherwise, if I hear it sucks, I may return it and use the credit for Ninja Gaiden.

Sorry in advance, this reply requires cap locks.

NO NO NO NO,

THIS GAME SUCKS BIG FLOPPY DONKY BALLS.

If you were thinking “hey, I think the co-op mode would be great!” then you should go slam your head in a car door; this will save you money.
When playing co-op, the ‘animation’ consists of 2 frames ‘moving’ and ‘dead’.

1 player mode is slightly less annoying, how-ever, the story is absolute crap, I mean for fuck sakes, the monsters you are shooting are fucking MONKEYS (alright ‘space’ monkeys) all the while you have some sorry sack of shit mumbling to himself over the com unit saying shit like “ya, take that you silly monkey’s” and “woo-hoo, remind me not to get you mad at me”.

Speaking of the poorly ‘animated’ space monkeys, which for some reason only 2 will attack at any given time, if you were thinking “ahhh, what cute little space monkeys, I bet they would just love for me to lay them on the ground and proceed to ‘tea-bag them”, well..damn, that ain’t a problem, seeing as they cause little to no damage.

As for online play:
Vehicles……useless
Game modes…….just the one, a weird sort-of CTF
Aiming….any where you like, if you see some one, then in most cases you hit them
Flame thrower…….awesome! Unfortunately with the range of a Bic lighter.

Basically what I’m saying is that you would probably have more fun with LOSJ.

well, as you know[or should know], PC games will always be superior to console games for the fact you have more control over game settings & are able to upgrade practically every part of your computer whenever you want to.
so it's clear at least that the PC version of Unreal 2 is better then the X-Box version.

i did enjoy the game when it came out for the PC. a bit slow at first, but if you stick with it the later levels are pretty good. also, if you have/get the PC version there's an add-on for it now called 'XMP'[Xtended Multi-Player] that allows online play with a few new modes & vehicles.

however, i myself avoid FPS games on consoles[unless it's a game only available on console with no plans for a PC release]. i just feel FPS games belong on PC's and shouldn't be made for consoles at all.. at least until they bring out better controllers.. cause an FPS game w/ a gamepad is just horrible compared to using a keyboard/mouse.

I wanted to play more of this but the loading and the story line took too long to get through. I want some action in my action games, not talking or (||||||||||||||||||---------------) now loading. Other then that the game looks pretty good, I have yet to try it on X-box though.
