Well I searched the forums for any other info on this, but none so far I guess. I was just checking out my KOF '03 PCB up close and personal and noticed that the BIOS chip is a stardard 128k 16bit 40 pin EPROM. Would it be possible to desolder it and replace it with a socket and UniBIOS? I heard that SVC Chaos has some other sort of surface mount bios chip and is not an applicable candidate for this mod but is KOF '03 different?
