Giga Wing 1 is dreadful, avoid it.

Otherwise, you can't go far wrong with any DC shooter.

Gunbird 2 is amazing and requires serious skills.
Zero Gunner 2 is one of the easier Psikyo offerings, but is excellent.
Mars Matrix is a fine fine thing.

Ikaruga for me.
Zero Gunner 2 while verry easy as said (in fact for me only the last boss was difficult) it s verry enjoyable (popcorn nmes, lot of bonuses everywhere).
Mars Matrix is great fun too (same reason as ZG2... i love popcorn :p)
Gunbird2 <- that is a fantastic shooter, never played it on DC though :)

I agree, I hated Gigawing 1 as well, way too messy on screen with all that damned bonus raining from the sky. Gigawing 2 was at least OK.

I agree, plus factor in the fact that the game is over in less than 15 minutes. No joking.

Ikaruga and Zero Gunner 2 are my favorites, haven't played Border Down yet.

I like Mars Matrix as well, but I have that on cps2

Radiant Silvergun, Ikaruga (RS2), and Mars Matrix are definite shoe-ins but i really love some of the older stuff like Battle Garegga that have incredible detail and that old World War appeal.

It DEFINITELY has it's problems. the biggest being the axis that your character moves on. shooting is a bitch cause you cannot see what is in front of you. if you have ever played the first iridion for the GBA it ia alot like that.

I am a big big big fan of cotton, but rainbow wasn t good to me. I have nothing against the view (remember the genesis version ?)
but it was boring and if i remember plagued with a lot of slow downs. While it s not a problem in 2D games (helps dodging, no gameplay issue), i hate slowdowns in 3D (choppy, controls suffer a lot).
