Rocky 6...what gives, is it on or what?

Found this movie poster at some cinema website, recently posted in late January 2004. I also keep reading tidbits that Stallone was on one of the last Monday Night Footballs talking about how he finally got the money to start filming Rocky VI. Plus, I've read a few reports now that certain newspapers across the country have this latest info just recently published like last week.

Anyone seen any info on Rocky VI in your newspapers recently? Or do you remember Sly on Monday Night Football? You can download the audio clips of it at the official Stallone website, but the clip is like 22 MB, way too much for me to download on dial up.

Went to www.rottentomatoes.com and nothing came up with a Rocky VI search and they have a tap into all major newspapers. They really should have stoped at 4, 5 was horrible. 5 should not been even considered a Rocky movie.

I hope it's something along the lines of his son having a love affair with Tommy Gun (who actually has AIDs IRL), who eventually infects him as well. Then Rocky has no choice but to lace up the gloves again.

For his honor.

For Mickey.

For his infected son. He could wear one of those ribbons in the fight too.

GunstarHero, I was wondering the same thing! I want more details on Rocky VI! All I really remember is a TV station (forget which one, probably E! or Starz) talking about Rocky VI in the works. I definitely plan on seeing this movie once it comes out.

Rocky IV and V were abysmal. Where do they get the impression that doing another one is a good idea?

Rocky V was bad, yah, but rocky 4 was pretty good IMO.

I think its Danish anyway, apparently it has some info regarding his Rocky 6 project, some plot points and a Stallone biography, and its dated Feb 10th..so for some reason Sly is pimping Rocky VI abroad, but not commiting to anything for his US fans.
