Ok, I was playing some SSF2X on the DC and decided to play some Saturn SFA2 to see if the comboing was any easier. I went through my CD's and right next to my SFA2 I see SFA2Gold. I remember buying this when I was college but I never did figure out what the difference was between the two versions. Any of you guys know what the difference is?

SFA2 mimics the arcade SFA2 on the Saturn.

SFA2Gold is the name for the console version of Street Fighter Zero 2 Alpha, which featured some gameplay tweaks like Alpha Counters requiring half-a-bar and Chun-Li toned down, Guy's third Super, and some alternative characters like Champ-Ed Zangief, Ken, Dhalsim, Super Gouki, etc. Just a lot of funky tweakage.

I really like Guy's lv3 super in the gold version. It looks so much cooler than the alpha 3's "flashing" version. Guy is awesome to use.

Thanx for the info loopz. I've this game for a long time an i've never known about any of this stuff. Oddly enough there's not even a faq for this game but then again, if all it is is a bunch of tweaks then I guess that's why there's no faq. I really like SFA1 and 2 too bad I can't play them for crap.

Normally, I'd try to use Guy, Charlie(Nash) and the occasional Gen but was never any good with any of them. Anybody got any tips?:help:

Heh heh...

Well the other guys pretty much hit the nail on the head. Only thing I have to add really is...

Alpha 2 Gold (found in SF Collection for those few who don't know) contains "hidden" character CAMMY. You have to beat the game and IIRC type in CAM as the initials. Correct me if I'm wrong.

Also, pricing is important to consider for the US versions.

SFA 2 is pretty cheap I'm sure, probably a 10 dollar title.

SF Collection last I checked is more hefty at 30-40 bucks. But you do get a slightly improved Alpha 2 AND the two Super SF games... if you're a diehard forget SFA 2 and spring for SF Collection I say, but if you're on a strict budget and don't care for the Super games, by all means get SFA 2. (<---- years back I got that for free :D )

The faqs say you have to beat it with Bison and get top score putting in the initials CAM to get her.

Ive been trying, but I kind of suck with bison, especially since the final boss for him is Ryu.
If you can beat it with anyone though Ill fuck it up with some cheap ass characters to make this easier on me.
