Looks like another Dynasty warriors with a JP motif. Anybody interested?

Hell yes! I have been waiting for this game for a long time. Dynasty Warriors gameplay, set in feudal Japan? Sign me up. I like the DW series, but the Three Kingdoms mythos was getting a little tired. Let's hope Sengoku Mousou is popular enough to justify a sequel or expansion pack or two.

Hell yeah. DW was fun, but I couldn't really get into the characters. Change the setting to Japan, with Samurai, and now you've got my attention :)

I'll probably rent it. I was never into the DW series, but the fact that it is set in ancient Japan has me interested.

I was skimming through the latest Famitsu today, and they had some screenshots... the BG's look Japanese, but the player characters (except for the Ninja) still look Chinese.

It's like the Koei artists and designers have been drawing Chinese Warriors for so long that they can't get out of the habit.

...still this is one game I'm definitely going to pick up. I'm a big fan of 'Tenchi Wo Kurau' and 'Sangokushi Musou'.

Like any beat 'em up or shooter, you can just sorta zone out while you play.

No puzzles, or roleplaying, just hacking and slashing and hacking and slashing... no thinking or aggravation, just hacking and slashing and hacking and slashing...

...well that's the way it is for me anyways.

yeah i could get into it if it was like spike out, then it would rock.

each enemy has a different pattern you have to learn. if you are good enough you can completely avoid taking damage, throws, kicks, juggles... etc.

it seems like you just mash one button though... there are combos but not really any technique to the game (not deep tech anyways like spikeout..).

crappy graphics too, the fog is hideous and the ppl standing around on the battlefield...

always surprised me how this game was constantly one of the biggest selling games in japan.
