Ok SO I just got a MAS Systems SUPER NOVA< came with both controllers, a harness and a 1 Slot MV-1FZ PCB

OK, I hooked everything up, worked great, Was playing MSX and then the screan got a little wavy, pretty soon the screan was noticable shaking, pretty soon it was soooo bad I couldn't make out a thing, I played with the HArness and teh screan got royaly fuct, and pretty soon just got a blue screan and just sound, If I jiggled the harness just right, the picture became good again, but then progressively got worse and worse, it would pop and plash and flicker, just so bad.

I have pinpointed to the power cables on the harness, if I move the wires it gets better or worse, most of the time worse, but it is just so damn annoying, what could this be? I cannot get it to work right, and even when I do get it to be crystal clear, it just flickers and shakes randomly, it gets grainy too, and then goe sback to normal for a fer seconds, it is so bad though, I am almost certain it is the power supply coming through the JAMMA harness, how do I fix this???????

It reads like you have a broken wire/connection somewhere.Try to narrow it down as to what wire(s) from the harness are affecting your picture.
The SYNC and GROUND connections affect the picture.

Well I get BAD ROLLING PICTURE< And I know it is either the red or the Black wires, probably the ground, the picture just progresively gets worse and worse until it is unwatchable.

First the quality goes, then the balance, then it rolls BADLY.

How would I had wire the MVS and cancel out the power from the harness?

Seems like a problem with the supply voltage to the RGB-video encoder. It probaby runs off a regulated 5 volts, maybe via a 7805 regulator. Measure that voltage when things start going pair shape. It maybe the encoder IC itself, if the problem is heat related ie occurrs after a warm up period, get some electronic freezer spray and cool down the component to isolate and confirm the problem.

could very well be a bad power supply or bad contact to the power pins on the harness.

Well I opened up the system, and tightened the Video contact, and this seemed to work. About an HOUR into game play, the screan got REALLY grainy, and then start flickering, and then started rolling.

I pushed down the harness as hard as I could, and then it went back to normal, if I let go, a clusterfuck would apear on my TV.

What Shit, I just got this thing and NOW I haveta send it ALLLL the way back to Cally to get fixed, man this sux..
