Tactics Ogre is great. 1000 times better then FFTA. Its pricey for a GBA game though. I never understood why the charged so much for it, must be the low quantities of it produced or something equally lame.

Castlevania: Aria of Sorrow is another great one. (I haven't played the other 2 castlevania games on the gba)

Circle of the Moon is a lot cooler than Aria IMHO. Harmony of Dissonance, though, I've yet to play.

Buy Wario Ware immediately. My vote for GBA game of the year.

The others listed are all good as well, althought I dont agree with CotM as better than Aria. I like Aria as best out of the GBA Castlevanias.

Yeah, I love the emblems. So far, I've gotten two of the endings (Game Over and B), and I'm working on A with Deneb in my party.

Mega Man and Bass (Best MM I have yet to play)
CastleVania Aria of Sorrow (Astounding, close to SOTN almost..)

CastleVania Harmony of Disonnance (great Simon Belmont cameo)

CastleVania: Circle of the Moon (A Must if you love Bloodlines on Genesis, since the same crew who made CV64 and the genesis one made this, the remix soundtrack in this is a dead give away. One of my personal favorites)

Lunar Legends (love this port of Lunar)

Gradius Galaxies (hard, but damn GOOD)

Iridion 1 and 2!

Breath of Fire 1 and 2 *nuff said*

NINJA FIVE-O!! GOD THIS GAME ROCKS! Konami teh shit!

Final Fight One (Excellent Port, even my sig wont lie to you)

Castlevania: Aria of Sorrow
Mega Man Zero 2

i'd also have to say these:

Contra: the Alien Wars Advance
Gradius
Double Dragon Advance
Final Fight One
King of Fighters EX 2: Howling Blood
King of Fighters EX: Neo Blood (the 2 KOF ones are OK, but still fun to play)
Phalanx

Metroid Fusion is cool, but waaaaay too short. I beat that game my first go-through in 3 hours.

Some other good games:

Puzzle Fighter
King of Fighters EX 2
Sword of Mana
Street Fighter Alpha 3 Upper
Zelda
The Marios
Mario Kart
Breath of Fires
SSF2T Revival

I could go on and on.. The GBA has a lot of quality titles..

well it's probably too late for you now, but here is a must-have list for GBA:

- Castlevania Aria of Sorrow: this is way much deeper than the other 2 CVs on GBA. probably, as deep as SotN

- Double Dragon (remake of the original arcade game)

- Kirby: nightmare in dreamland (remake of the orginal NES game)

- Mario Advance 4: Mario Bros. 3

- Mario and Luigi

- Metroid Fusion

- Wario Land

- Yushi's Island

- Zelda

-----------

worth checking:

- Ninja Cop

- Wario Ware

- Activision Anthology

- Gradius Galaxies

- Prince of Persia

- Lufia 3

- Lunar

- FF: tactics

- Golden Sun 1&2

- Fire Emblem

and there will be a remake for Shining Force 1 for Genesis on GBA ...... this game is one of my favorites of all time.

Best GBA game evar: Double Dragon Advance

Also:

Castlevania Circle of the Moon
Sword of Mana

Other then that are games that I liked but not sure if I would reccomend or not:

Like I bought the second Castlevania, and it's alright so far.

And Breath of Fire 1, but mostly it's autobattle after autobattle after autobattle.

Final Fantasy Tactics, but many people didn't like it.

Games that I have but didn't think were that great:

F-zero... it's too damn hard to control.

Every thing else I have is just kinda meh.

Oh and I had no idea they made super dodge ball on the GBA???

Fire Pro Wrestling/FPW2 - The learning curve makes Virtua Fighter: Evo look like Mortal Kombat 1, but they're the most satisfying and educated pro wrestling sims money can buy.

Sega Arcade Gallery - Pure 80's arcade goodness

Wario Ware - A Portable masterpiece IMO

All of the Mario ports

Donkey Kong Country

Street Fighter Alpha 3

Super Street Fighter II X Revival

Altered Beast: Guardian of the Realms

Pac-Man Collection

I could name about 80 more, but those are some that stick out in my mind at the moment. ;)

Hey- to all you guys playing 'Double Dragon Advance'-

Are you playing on a GBA SP? Or using the player? I have only the SP.

Cause I bought it and it was the darkest, most hard to see game since the first Castlevania. It was a really good game, but it hurt me eyes after a while, and it ruined the whole experience for me.

I ended up selling it.
