You should try it again, after the LAME louisianna missions, it really shines!

Great, more demons, they continued the one aspect of the original I didn't like. :annoyed:

Oh well, if they've cleaned up the hit detection and play mechanics, then I might give the sequel more play than I gave the original.

I'm with Pyro, I really enjoyed the first game but I had mucho trouble at the end and couldn't figure out how to defeat the final boss.

The FMVs in the game were really good too.

Yeah, the boss was hard, but awesome! Its been so long since I replayed it.,....mabey tonight!

I already know that I'm getting part 2 but probably not for awhile. This isn't the kind of game I would spend 50 dollars on.

Didn't like the first, but this one really does at least look very nice. If they clean up the gameplay, I'll give it a go! Sorry man, just didn't groove with the original.

Bloodrayne was allright. Decent enough for a 3rd person shoter/slasher though not exactly spectacular. I had enough fun with it to play it all the way through, and will probably get this game as well.

I would have preferred a less tacky lead role though. I thought videogames had progressed beyond the realm of horny fat men projecting their sexual fantisies onto the games they make.

i'm not fat either.. nor do i get "horny" from a mere video game.

but to the people that do get horny from games/anime, i just have to say.. wtf!? go see a shrink.

p.s. yeah i had alot of fun playing Bloodrayne. it was much better then that Tomb Raider b.s. imo.[and we all know Tomb Raider was only popular because of Lara & her boobs]. :rolleyes:

Breakdown of Bloodrayne's coolness:
PROS
1)Sweet action (slow-mo done very well, lots of weapons, cool moves)
2)Good graphics (Xbox version im talking here, bumpmapping, good characters, and movies)
3)Controlls were GREAT
4)Stylish menus (often overlooked)
5)Excellent storyline! (hey vampires and nazis go REALLY well togather!)
6)Great voiceovers! and music was ok
7)Bloodrayne is a cool character (hey not often main characters swear either

)

CONS
1) First missions sucked bad
2) Mission are sometimes confusing (ie: where to go next)

crank the graphic settings all the way up & use high res and woo wee! that sure is pretty.
