After just getting a tattoo, the skin is covered in anti-bacterial cream, and then wrapped in saran-wrap to keep the area clean and uninfected.
The saran-wrap comes off after a half-day or so.
People used to use bandages, but the cotton would end up getting stuck to the tattoo, and in some extreme cases, some of the ink would come out after the bandage was removed. The saran-wrap doesn't stick.

Dumb tattoo, but yeah -anyone who knows anything about tats would know what the wrap is for... and I have a total aversion to tattoos (it only comes into play with the opposite sex, but I've said my piece on that in previous threads)

Thats not that bad, its actually a common tattoo design, I just dont know the howard dean thing.......
As for dumb tattoos, Ive seen alot worse, including the whitest white boy in the world to have "Thug Life" tattooed across his back and some puerto rican kid with a crackpipe on his leg with a genie coming out of it.

Well yeah I got to get some shots in once in awhile
anyway, is it possible its fake, I mean wouldn't a tattoo that big cause the arm to be red and swollen?(I don't have any tats.) Anyway, I wouldn't think any tattoo of any presidential candidate would ever be 'cool'...its a stupid idea period.It would have been less stupid if he wouldn't have dated it 04' I guess, now he has to have a modification for 08, barring a miracle.
