Opinions..Please..

Would you let this bidder bid on your auction..?

He bid on my MORTAL KOMBAT II board and was winning..but I notice he's also winning a few others..
He's bidding on similar numerous boards and some pretty high priced items..

The high bidder keeps changing in these auctions so he may no longer be the high bidder when you see what he's winning..

He was the high bidder of my auction when I first started writing this up..
Why bid high on the same board..?

Should I let him bid on my board or block him/cancel his bid/s..?

I have emailed him..but I haven't got a responce yet..

Hrmmm, questionable. Email him and if he doesn't respond, cut him off.

Sounds funky to me. He's a 0 feedback bidder? I don't even accept bids from 0 feedbackers when I sell stuff. They bid anyway, so I cancel them for not reading the whole auction.

I would give him a little more time to respond to the email, then cancel his bid otherwise.

Hmmm could be an op, but have you sent him an e-mail?

Yes..I sent him an email earlier today, but he hasn't responded yet..

85% of Zero feedback bidders never pay when they win my auctions, that why I'm very skeptical of this bidder..
Plus it's a new account and he's bidding high on the same item..

I'm thinking this guys going to pay for only one auction he wins and that's going to be the cheapest he wins..
He may win a few auctions for the same board but pay for the cheapest one and disappear..
I've had that happen to me before ..

I'd trust my intuition (and experience) on this one, and cut him off.

this is the EXACT thing that bothers the hell out of me. you won't sell to ZERO bidders (0) because they have no rating. weren't you a new Ebay member at some point? if a seller just cut your ass off on your first bid, you'd be pretty pissed right? don't cut him off until you find out hard evidence of this. if he fails to pay you, report him and put it back up if you want to sell it.

sellers have the easiest fucking job on Ebay--if they don't pay, you don't really lose a lot. if you're a buyer and the seller fucks you over, you lose all your money, unless you're able to get it back through PayPal or something. but regardless of rating, it's fucking bullshit to just cancel an item on someone just because you don't want to get screwed or don't want to deal with it. maybe he's a coin-op dealer or maybe he's got a few arcade machines set up in his house. who knows? who cares? he's bidding on them for a reason. no one in their right mind would bid on more than one of the same thing if they didn't need it or want it.

it's sellers like you guys that make Ebay a shitty place to deal on sometimes. "oh, i don't like the fact that he has a (0), so i'll just cancel his bid and be an asshole, when he could truly want the item." if you don't wanna get screwed selling on Ebay......DON'T SELL ON IT.

i've sold and bought on Ebay MANY times in the past--no one cancelled my (0), (1), (2) rated bids. and when i became a seller there, i never once told anyone that i'd cancel anyone's bid if they had a (0) or negative rating. sometimes people have those because they're NEW or they had a bad experience with some dick, which wasn't their fault (seen it happen to friends, so i know it's true). and for the record, i'm at 100% there for being honest, not cancelling anything, and holding up to MY obligation as a SELLER.

well, if he continues to ignore the email message you sent then whats to say he won't answer an email requesting payment. When I was a low feedback buyer serveral times the buyer sent me an email asking if I indeed intended to pay. I responded to his email and there wasn't a problem.
However I do understand that it is a pain sometimes to relist items, that's why I try to sell stuff on here before I bother with E(vil)bay:loco:

First thing I bought on ebay was over $100. I say just make him pay with a M/O and then even if you auction does not include it get delivery confirmation to cover your ass on this. Give 'im a chance, but be weary at the same time. He could be a guy who just found out you could get this stuff on ebay and has only paid high retail prices before.

You never know. Worst comes to worst you put it back up.

I can understand where your coming from..I once was a 0 feedback bidder myself..

That's why I wrote Opinions..I respect your opinion..

I haven't canceled his bids yet....I believe in giving everyone a chance, that's why I "don't" write anything in my auctions stating that 0 feedback bidders can't bid on my auctions..etc..

Though my experience as a seller has been bad with people just fucking around on Ebay..who have no feedback..
I currently have a 0 feedback bidder report still to leave for someone who didn't pay for a SNES auction of mine..
The Bidder never bidded on anything else,responed,nothing..thus he has disappeared..

I'm pretty sure it was an individual who made me a personal offer for the SNES and I refused..
He was pissed that I didn't accept his $20.00 offer for an auction that ended at over $70.00..both times listed..

I haven't canceled his bids etc,maybe he's legit..
(I've never cancelled a bid on any of my auctions)
But he has "not" responded to my emails/anything at all and the auction ends soon..

I'm going to see what feedback he gets for the auctions he does win/gets bids cancelled etc....for my own reference.
I want to see if my decision to let him bid was the right ..though I'm going to be pissed off if he's a fake..
.........................................................................................................
(Just Emailed his again)
I figure now..since he has found the same board set for a cheaper price that ends later then mine he won't be bidding on my auction anymore..
