Yes, I've just downloaded it and played in my Xbox, it works much better than in the PC, it didn't hang at all and I could use any xbox controller.

In case you didn't know, Beats of Rage is a fan-made PC game that plays like Streets of Rage, but with KoF characters. I really recommend it.

It says there are DC and PS2 versions too, but I got the Xbox one and it rocks. :buttrock:

Where did you get the Xbox version its not on this site.

All you have to do is download the pc version. Copy that to the xbox. And copy the default.xbe to the same folder...done

Yup, you beat me to it, I didn't see that thread.

Anyway I just beat the game, Rugal is a cheap bad-ass just as in any KoF. Then I unlocked the hidden stage, that takes place in a sewer, and features enemies ripped from another Neo Geo game, you'll see

I played this on Dreamcast today. I was a few minutes into the second stage when I accidentally ended the game without meaning to. How many stages are there and does it matter which difficulty you beat it on to unlock the bonus stage?

There are 6 stages in total, I beat it in normal and got the bonus stage, I don't know if it will work in easy, but the game is not that hard anyway. By the way, it looks like the game wasn't saved so if I want to replay the extra level I need to beat it again :emb:

Are you serious. That is fucking sweet.
I always wanted to do this with Final Fight but never could because I know jack about programing.

downloading the dc one now. is it tough to burn so that it will work?

As long as you have Nero or DiscJuggler. It's already in those formats for DC. Just click on the image and your burning a cd/.

My question is how to get the ps2 to work?

I just burned and played it on DC. It's awesome! I even made it to Rugal. I was on my last life and only had 1/10 of my energy left. He beat me with a low kick :(

This is the raddest fucking homebrew game ever.

Getting ready to burn a Dreamcast disk of it now. Great find, even if it was mentioned before. It's one of those homebrew games I just have to see for myself.

Well I'm back from a session of playing. There's just one word to say about this game.

Wow!

If this isn't the coolest homebrew I've seen ported to something outside of the PC sector, I don't know what is. (I still consider Melty Blood to be quite possibly the finest homebrew game ever, though). Chock full of nostalgia. Nice big sprite graphics. A very playable game, and some of the coolest custom KOF character color pallete edits I've seen. The inside jokes are also a hoot.

Love the fight with Dawn and Dusk and Billy Kane as Billi Vanilli! (I've been searching High High HIGH. Been searching Low low low). Hehe.

Good music, good gameplay, difficulty setting options, a cooler than it needed to be intro, full brightness and gamma controls, it's free, and works perfectly with the VGA box. This is one of those underground achievements that could be later seen as a classic. I see the future. (ahmmm!) The future says that some magazine will pick up on this game and mention a whole blurb about its coolness. At least, it'll always be available. Now to burn a few Dreamcast copies for my KOF and SOR-loving friends.

HEEEEEEEEEEEELP!

Hey I downloaded mirror 4 for the dreamcast, and the file is in .cdi format and is not compatible with nero so it seems. I can't find disc juggler anywhere either, anyone mind giving me a hand here? I can't wait to try this game!
