Neo Geo AES Import

Hey all,

I'm new here, so I just wanna say hi and ask if anyone has any import neo geo AES systems for sale. I have never owned a neo geo system in my life, but I used to play some of the games in the arcade(I really miss those days). Anyways, I'm looking to spend about 150 - 200 for the system, cables, and a controller. E-mail me or MSN me if you got something similar to that to offer.

Just out of curiousity, it there a reason you specifically want an import?

Unlike nearly all other video game systems, all Neo Geos (whatever the format) are region-free. The only thing the system's "nationality" would determine is what language the games play in. I.E.: So that means a US edition of a game would play in Japanese on a Japanese edition system.

In that case I would be fine with a US system too ^_^

I heard a rumor from a friend that the IMPORT systems show blood and more animations, but if there is no difference I'm fine with either or.

Hey 16-Bit, I too am looking for a Neo Geo AES system. I had a friend that was going to send me one, so I started buying games left and right off of E-bay and from some wonderful sellers here on Neo-Geo.com. Turns out the jackass I was getting the system from never sent the system like he said he did and now I'm stuck with lots of games and an extra Neo Geo joystick, but no Neo Geo AES system. I was wondering if you would honor the deal you quoted to Alan "Neo Geo system with all hookups and an original "old style" joystick for $215 shipped priority mail", for me as well? Also is there anyway you would change the import system for an american system instead? Please let me know. Thanks!

Hey Viper,

Don't feel bad, I'm kinda in the same boat. I got the Neo Geo itch again so I started buying mvs titles off ebay before I got another system and a phantom. Got the system now, but still can't play *doh* :)

I just happen to have a JPN AES system in close to mint/excellent conditon that I can sell you for $220 + shipping that includes two joysticks, a/v cables, original box, and the manual. 16-Bit, or Carlson, should I say, I just wanted you to know that I received your system today and it's working great! I'm finally able to play the 8 Neo Geo AES games that I bought a while back from ebay and various sellers! Anyway keep up the excellent work and I can't wait to do more business with you in the future.

If you took the time to look how old this post was you would realize that I was able to get hold of JPN system. Unfortunatly I wanted the s-video output so I recently purchased a MEGA neo from the Neo Store. So now I have a second system lying around unused. Please ask before you accuse ^_^
