These are the dates listed for you to see them for their upcoming tour in 2004. Their music is influenced by Blondie and Duran Duran and the album "Living In America" contains the wide chasm of early 80s Punk, mid 80s dance and contemporary European songwriting. And for those of you who don't already know, Maja Ivarsson (the lead singer) is my avatar and sig.

I'm really sorry dude. What you could do is go here and then find the appropriate contact to see what you can do to get them to probably go there next time around.

*Edit* Just noticed Ima Robot is opening- VERY good band, I like them better than the sounds- of course they have no sexy lead singer though.

thanks, but I'm not even sure where I'll be next time around. I'm graduating in may, and let's just say that location is not a big ffactor in my job hunt.

BTW, I'll be at at The Sounds/The Strokes show tonight at the House of Blues in Downtown Disney. If you're from the Orlando area, unless you can find a scalper, you are out of luck. Tickets are already sold out for Orlando (Lake Buena Vista). If any of the other shows are near you, be sure to catch The Sounds since it's a revised tour schedule!

I just woke up from the show from last night and it was just awesome. The great news is, is that The Sounds are coming back around again very very soon (said around April).

The biggest highlight though was that I got to actually talk with Maja! She is just so cool in person and she comes about to my shoulders I'd say, she was just so cute in person. We talked about the upcoming shows as well as she noticed my shirt (Supergrass) and thought they were a good band. Maja also autographed my ticket which rocks and I'll keep it forever. I'm definitely going to see The Sounds when they come around again!

I just saw Ima Robot for the first time the other week on the campus invasion tour featuring Ima Robot, Lost Prophets and Hoobastank. Ima Robot is a really good band and I just picked their album today, very very good stuff. I really could care less about Lost Prophets and Hoobastank is ok.

Awesome! I'm really hoping that The Sounds come back to Orlando so I can see them again! It'd be my third time, but they are just so good live!

For those who saw The Sounds in 2004, you were very lucky indeed! I'm personally glad that I got to see them twice. I can't wait until their next album comes out and I see them again.

I'm going to make sure I don't miss them this time.
