Seriously get real, Bohemian Rhapsody is a great Queen song and this is coming from a Queen fanboy. You are right though Bohemian Rhapsody is what Queen is remembered a lot for (here in America especially). But to the point: the Bohemian Rhapsody video rules.

"bohemeian rhapsody" sucks, plain and simple. it's not that it's a bad song, or that it's badly written, it's that it's the only song queen is remembered for. when they had so many better songs:

Its over played, yes. But it is a great song.

wow, you must live in a truly backwater place. I've never ever thought that Queen was only ever remembered for bohemian rhapsody. I suppose Wayne's World really helped bring that particular song back into the collective consciousness, but most people at least know that an "we will rock you" &"we are the champions."

I still have no idea where you get this idea that because something is played a lot, then it must suck. but then again, I also disagree quite strongly about queen never making a bad song. I got their greatest hits vol I&II for christmas one year, and IMO, virtually the entire volume 2 is utter crap. in any case, we've been over our vastly different musical taste before, so I'll end it here, but you're views on music never cease to amaze me.

well we will rock you is a good song, champions is just too...too seventies rock tapering on the edge of metal. and bohemian rhapsody isn't bad, just overplayed. and how could you say volume II of their greatest hits is crap? track listing for volume II:

if you think that those songs are crap, you just don't get queen at all. i swear man, radio ga-ga is fucking awesome, it's a hard life is my favorite song of theirs, the show must go on is just plain cool, invisible man is a sweet track, who wants to live forever is another great song, i want to break free...i mean i can go on and on and prolly write like an eight bpage essay on why all the songs on there are great, but i don't feel like it now.

I can admit to that. I read that Freddy Mercury often wrote songs as if he were writing a musical. Problem is that I despise musicals, sans a few exceptions. Naturally, I'd have problems with Queen's songwriting philosophy, and by extension a great deal of their songs.

i hate musicals as much as the next guy, but you have to admit that when you really listen to queen their lyircs have depth and a voice, they're not pointless and stupid like so many other bands their words have a real meaning, i love queen.
