Well, I bought FIFA 2004 on Xbox, and I'd like to say that it doesn't suck. I'm a big football/soccer fan, and I've loved ISSS and Winning Eleven. Hell, I really want to try out PES3 here soon, too.

ANYHOW, I really am enjoying FIFA, which I find to be not total garbage, but close. Anyone playing this? I rather enjoy the hell out of it this year.

i played it, and it's ok. So far the most respectable Fifa that has been released. yet not quite as good as winning eleven. Nevertheless, it's a good purchase.

I clearly cannot read what you type, so would you save your fingers some time and shut up?

Jeff, I agree, as I said, that FIFA is not the best football game... but still getting there. What I don't like about WE (which is not much) is the lack of license. Also, the graphics aren't as good. Gameplay is better, but in 2k4, they've made making runs with other players and one twos easier. Walking and sprinting, along with a normal jog. Shoot high or low. FIFA also has MUCH better chants, but then again, I guess you can't expect to hear "glory glory man united" in a game that doesn't call Man U "Man U". The only thing that WE has that I wish was in FIFA was a better offensive layout, more stats, and a better practice mode.

FIFA is OK this year, still nothing compared to WE7.

My mate has just bought FIFA for the box - I have to admit that taking direct free-kicks is rather addictive once you get the hang of it, even if it does turn into a golf game for that split second. :D

How is WE7 better than WE6:FE? That's the last WE I've played. Better graphics, I'm hoping? Just about everything else is fine.

FF 2k4 is good, but not great..
I was actually really exited when i notice on
the cormecials they had a few logos from the
Mexican team, so i went out and bought it..
To my surprice it only had like 4 teams, so i was
like WTF?
I though EA was finally doing, and was adding Mexican
teams to the roster, but nope, only 4...

Hey at least it has my Team... AMERICA.........

PS..does WE have any Mx teams?

WE doesn't have really ANY teams. Most of which aren't even named what they are in real life. Man U, Arsenal, Real Madrid... you can forget any of those teams in there. Well, not real names, kits, logos and what not.

So, to answer your question: no, WE won't have your mexican teams. Sorry. :(

:shame:

Electronic Arts

FIFA

......The combination of the two should entail:

1)Prison sentance awarded to the user/buyer

2)Nuking of all establishments own by company.

I did market resaerch on videogames this week and proudly gave EA no points in every field.

I even bought MOH:RS and almost convinced myself it was great, :shame: on me

It may not be a bad game this year, but the regurgitation year after year is EVEN WORSE than SNK's KOF efforts.....I meean at least KOF is yearly, not quarterly.

There is only Winning 11/Pro Evolution, anything else doesn't count........sans the odd bit of Sensible Soccer, Hat Trick Hero, Sidekicks & Siebu Olympic Cup Soccer ;)

Baseley, have you ever played Perfect Striker on N64? It's so good! I wonder how many have missed this little gem, also by Konami.

Im probbly the biggest ISS pro fan out there.Ive pretty much played or seen most of these games from back in the Snes days. In the UK FIFA used to rule but than ISS pro 98 came out . what i loved about ISS pro/Winning 11 games from the PS1 days was that every territory or console version was different to the other. The euro version of ISS pro 98 on ps1 had national teams, whilst the jap version had the japanese league. The engine was not the same, the moves U learnt on one didnt work the same on the other. So it was like 2 seperate games.

Ive just got an X Box my first next gen console, and i was pleasently suprised that ISS2 is out on this. I like it, the graphics are cool , better than the GC version. But it lacks the depth and interest of the PS2 games with their masters leagues.

Does anyone know if another ISS/W11 game is scheduled for the X box?

True, i stoop to the same elevela of anality, the differences between the pal & ntsc versions certainly were interesting, though i guess its not the same any more since they get our tweeked version as "Winning 11 : international" now.

I dstill whip out the Snes ISS on a regular basi, pure ownership:D

ISS2 was pretty good on next gen i agree, im not sure if it came out on Xbox (dont see why not), butr PS2 & GC definatelly have ISS3.....which was rather odd aving this zooming camera skill thing for tight situations near the touchline/corner flag......different, this feature isnt to everyones taste, but doesnt stop it being a smart game.

If it's 6:FE, it IS great. Great game if you know Japanese. If not, you'll be missing out on a ton. The JPN announcers are far and away better than the US ones. What pure shit. I have it on PS2, but I cannot stand playing it thanks to the poor announcing.
