yeah basically i notice whenever i goto the Post Office to send a package and i 'do not' send via insured priority, then they just toss/throw the package into the bin behind them.

i mean, i'm pretty sure they're rough with packages during the whole shipping process.. but just surprising to see them handle the packages like that right infront of you.

do they do this at the Post Office' around you guys to?

Yes... this is why I pack it like there is expensive china in there, no mater what it is. Ask anyone I shipped stuff too... hehe, it could be at ground zero and survive... the idea is... I kind of relate the post office to a huge disaster, so it works ;)

Actually that's never happened to me. Out of all the POs I've ever been to they were curteous and handled my packages (at least in front of me) with care when putting them in that bag/bin thing.

The clerks at my post office have this Basketball Hoop, and they always try to make these 3-point shots that hold up the lines for aeons. :D

Joking. My clerks handle them gingerly as well. I see these huge post office bags, and they would often times take the package, stick their whole arm in there to make sure it rests gingerly on top of the other items, so I'd say Freakit your post office is quite the anomaly.

I bet there would be fewer underwrapped parcels if people did see post office staff handling them a little rougher in front of them.

but here's the thing though... i've seen them do that infront of me at 2 different Post Office' here[the one in downtown Oceanside, and another in downtown Carlsbad]. however i do make sure whenever i send something out that it's packaged real good, especially now that i've seen them handling the packages like that.
