his system is said to be JVS compatible, so it means you should be able to plug it on a SEGA Net-City/Universal Cabinet like the Naomi system. But the motherboard has only the VGA connector. No USB ports, no audio ports, no power supply ports... It seems you really have to plug the Jamma connector if you want to boot the system.

If you plug the Jamma connector on a cabinet like a Neo Candy or New Astro City, you'll be able to play but you'll have a 15khz resolution and you'll lose the benefits of the high-res provided by the Atomiswave system.

So finally, to have a 31khz quality, you have to get a SEGA Blast City cabinet (who is Jamma compatible and not JVS compatible)

Does somenone knows how to make it run on a JVS cabinet ?

I don't know anything about JVS cabinets, but you definately need the JAMMA harness connected to boot the hardware. There is a switch that toggles between VGA and 15khz display.

Interface: Based on JAMMA standards(JAMMMA compatible) Optional expansion -interface available (with Special controller) JVS standards will be supported.

Quote from www.coinopexpress.com.

Link to board: Atomiswave

It clearly states: JVS will be available in the near future. So be patient :emb:
