I have not yet seen a trailer for this but early reviews says this is a great movie "that's bound to make you proud to be an American."

It opens 2/6/04 but I actually got a free pass to an advance screening tomorrow night!
I'll probably catch it...

BTW its a movie about hockey and the theme is "if you believe, anything can happen." From the same studio that brought you THE ROOKIE and REMEMBER THE TITANS

Ive seen previews for it.. and it looks good but it seems like another predictable drama movie so im going to wait till it comes to tv or dvd.

Is this the hockey movie? If so, hell yes i want to see it. I'm a sucker for this kinda stuff.

i could give a shit about hockey nowadays (used to play for a team when i was younger) but it's a kurt russell movie so i'm there.

I might go see it. It looks decent, and if AMC hooks me up with a free ticket, definitely. Just from some buzz, it does sound pretty good, and the previews shown have looked OK.

I'm from Mn so I am there opening night and am going to be fighting back the tears like a little girl with a skinned knee.

Herb brooks family said that Kurt Russell plays the role perfectly.

Hockey is life and I've been playing since I was 13. Naturally, I'm going to see the movie where we beat the Soviets in a huge historical moment.

Kind of like that Titanic movie, right? But that did not stop people from seeing that drivel.

At least this shows promise whereas Titanic (ACK!).
