I vote for the formation of The First American Shogunate and all will follow suit. Orders shall be carried out by the 747th "Ghost Bear" Brigade. I of course shall proclaim myself Shogun. Tune in on FOX Network for more info on this as my first course of action is to take back Texas.

...Yeah Right!

pretty much what I expected with Dean and Clark at the top. Didn't expect the socialist candidate to be so high though...

This has to be somewhere high-up on the list of the most pointless websites that man has ever devised. The questions alone are nothing more than bland, hypothetical gut-checks enclosed within a petri dish of sterile absolutism.

[Is it] bad policy for the US to attack an enemy nation pre-emptively[?]

What kind of question is this???

Please don’t be burdened with the subtleties of individual circumstance. They are a vaguely-labeled “enemy nation” after all. Hell, why don’t we nuke them back to the Stone Age why we’re at it! And steal their oil! And kill all their puppies! That’d sure show them. Stupid enemies...

Every single issue is presented without any sort of legitimate context, divorced from the slightest consideration of funding, implementation, or sociopolitical impact. But not only that, by some vast web of mathematical algorithms your candidates’ opinions are magically cross-referenced by your own, until you arrive with a listed annotation of compatibility. I’m not sure if you’re supposed to elect the person on the top of the list or date them.

Whatever the outcome, it certainly robs (or relinquishes, however you choose to look at it...) the individual of having to go throw the tumultuous task of choosing a political candidate on anything other than vacuous idealisms and backhanded promises that will never come to fruition.

Fuck, this is still too hard! Can’t I just plug my brain to my computer and have it vote for me?!? At least then I won’t be saddled with the dire responsibility of clicking boxes!

If you have one fault (and you do) its that you're WAY too analytical in your replies.

I never said I took this as fact, its just sort of interesting to see what kind of results you get. I'm not going to vote for Howard fucking Dean (I may even vote Bush) this coming November as I'm pretty unimpressed with anything the Democratic party has to offer (Clark is most Republican Democrat I've ever seen).

Calm down, christ.

Why do people buy into this notion that Clark is a right wing democrat? He's been endorsed by Micheal Moore and Madonna for cryin out loud. If you look at his positions, he's the most pro-abortion, the most pro tax hike, and the most pro-gay marriage(maybe tied with Dean on that one). Clark is a joke anyway, he certainly has earned the nickname 'Weasly' Clark by his piss poor performance on Russerts show, and everywhere else where he avoids answering questions directly, and his flip-flopping, tongue twisting positions. His performance at the Primary last night and his slipping poll numbers are proof people are losing interest Mr. "I'm a General, Kerry is just a Luitenant"...what an asinine thing to say.

Most of my rant was jest and certainly had nothing to do with you bringing it up, or whomever your “ideal man” wound up being... (I still say this is some kind of secretive political dating scheme). My only intent was to point out the absurdity of sites like these and the idiotic assertion that a political candidate can be chosen for you by a litmus test of seemingly pointless queries...

"I like the color blue. I guess I’m voting Kucinich!"

I know most people here, yourself included, liken the results to some sort of political mood ring, devoid of anything more than a momentary interest. But when you stop and fathom the morons who will print out their results and arrive to the polls with them... well, it’s just giving stupid people encouragement to vote...

Then again, the Democrats do need all the help they can get...
