I've never met anybody who gets as giddy as I do when a new Metroid is about to be released...anybody else like that? I was already uber excited about Zero Mission but then after I read 3 stellar reviews (IGN's first impressions, EGM, Game Informer) and NOBODY could say much...if anything negative about it (besides it taking about 6 hours to beat...which is damn big for a GBA act game), I'm pumped! I've wanted to see the first one remade for so long. Not so much for updated graphics..no no no, but for a FRIGGIN MAP! All the updates to samus herself, HUGE extra area after you beat mother brain, original metroid full game, art gallery, and massive plot holes in the metroid story line finnaly filled...NOTHING and I say again, NOTHING compaires to having a MAP! Ok, nuf said...anybody else excited?

It sounds cool. I'm probably going to blast through it like the last one, but it was still cool. Hopefully, this one will include some other stuff to it. Sounds like it is the same length as Fusion.

Well, you might be happy to know that the original game will be included in Zero Mission as an extra.

Only 6 hours? :annoyed:

There are Metroid Prime ( 100% items ) videos under 2 Hours.

Beat that.

6 Hours is already good.

ahh yeah. Im getting this. It looks awesome, they say it plays awesome and GameInformer gave it game of the month as well.

I can't wait to see what happens at the "end" of the game. I really want to just play the extra stuff.

As this is a remake of the NES metroid, I'm really excited because the NES metroid is my fav of the series.

Matt

PS: it would be great if nintendo gave the same type of makeover to say, the original NES zelda, which is also my fav in the series.

To my knowledge, it hasn't even been announced in Japan yet. It will probably be like Fusion and come out a couple/few months after the U.S. in Japan, but include some extras.

As for the subtitles, I really have no idea. Did the JP Fusion have subs?

Yeah and people say American's always get dicked over by Japanese companies. Nintendo knows that we love our Samus.

I don't care how long/short this game is because I know if it's near the quality of Fussion I will play it many times.

I'ma put my $5 deposit tomorrow for sure. I'm not as excited as I was before Metroid Fusion came out, but I'm still pretty pumped.

I need to get Fusion again as well... I beat the game, but only had 37% finished. And I thought I got a majority of the items too... was shocked that I got that low of a count. They say that you can unlock a special gallery if you link a GBA with Fusion to a GBA with Zero Mission, BTW.

Still haven't played Metroid Prime though... I should get a GC again.

Damn right. Metroid Prime is the best game of this generation, and of the best ever.

Try to avoid the Players Choice version, if possible.

There is one fetaure for beating the game. It is confirmed that Swimsuit Samus (touched up) returns as a playable Samus instead of being an ending award. There is a downside. She can't use some items she normally could do with her suit on and she dies faster. So if you manage to use Swimsuit Samus, your in for a long night.

I'm not sure if there is a pw system.
If so, maybe the JUSTIN BAILEY (JUST IN BAILEY) code will work

I can't fucking wait. Finally, a reason to live!

I only hope there isn't a help system like Prime had, or especially like Fusion had (which TOTALLY killed the whole "exporation" aspect) or if there is one, that it can be turned off... and I can kind of understand the decision to have that in now, because recently I've tried to play through the first two metroid games and I was LOST to put it mildly, when I finished the games earlier in my life... maybe I just don't have the kind of patience I did before anyway. I totally regret playing through Prime with that on in hindsight, though...
