KI is Jamma so should work fine, from memory they like a nice PSU. I had a KI and KI2 that wouldn't work in one of my cabinets and it turned out to be power related and would work if the power was tuned up to around 5.3v.
A Street Fighter 2 CPS1 kick harness can be used when positioned on the right pins.

Its jamma+ so you will need to wire the extra two buttons per player. It may require -5 volts for the sound op amps ?

What do you mean by "a new Harddisc and chip"?

Killer instincts have a PCB board and Hardisc, the harddisc where prone to go wrong and replacements are hard to come buy, I found a site where some chap managed to copy the harddiscs, but because the PCB will only boot up an original Killer Instinct Seagate Harddisc (small laptop size) you need a hacked replacement chip which will allow the pcb to boot up any harddisc.
I bought one because i thought my KI was dead but it turned out the game needed a bit more juice so I had bought a Harddics/chip i didn't need.
Does that explain anything or did I lose ya lol

I have a KI and a KI2 board set...no hardrive on either and the KI2 one died last week so I had to pull it out of the cabinet and replace it with :oh_no: "Bloxeed" until I pick up a new board or kit.

Double bad news: the cabinet that had KI2 and currently has Bloxeed just had the monitor board burn up! Oy!!!

The KI board does work but has no hard drive however the tech I'm getting a new monitor board from is taking the KI and KI2 boards off my hands to fix the monitor :crying:

Those KI games are so troublesome. I had a friend w/ a setup and the HD died. Had a hell of a time trying to get it back up and running so he said fuck it, hooked up a pc to the cab via JPAC and ran a KI emulator instead.
